Eye Dimmer

Yesterday, I was reading Make magazine volume 29, and it had this one article called Eye Board. It was made by this guy who made a device on a breadboard for people who have this syndrome called ALS.(Stephen Hawking has it.) It was so cool, that I thought I might make something with my eyes. In the article, it said that the area between your retina (in back) and your cornea (in front) will create electricity between .4 mV and 1 mV. When staring straight ahead, it makes no voltage. So, I drew a schematic with my eyes being part of the circuit. So, here’s how it works: two electrodes are attached to my eyes via some sort of headset that doesn’t actually attach to my eyes. Maybe the NeuroSky EEG headset. The electrodes or my eyes are connected to an LED, and when I move my eyes, the LED will dim or brighten.  I haven’t built it yet because I’m still planning it and working on the fuel cell car.
